OPPO PNC110 Certified in China with 12,000mAh Battery
An unannounced OPPO phone with model number PNC110 has cleared China's MIIT certification with a rated battery of 11,460 mAh, which points to a marketed capacity of about 12,000 mAh. It may sit in the A series. The listing shows nothing else, and OPPO has confirmed nothing.
What does the MIIT listing show?
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) must approve any phone sold in China that connects to public telecom networks, so this handset will launch in China first. The listing's metadata gives a rated battery capacity of 11,460 mAh. Brands usually advertise the typical capacity, which sits a few percent above the rated figure, so we expect it to be sold as a 12,000 mAh battery.

The certification does not reveal the chipset, display, cameras or charging speed, so every spec other than the battery is unknown.
Which OPPO phone could this be?
PNC110 looks like a mid-range A-series model, probably an upgraded Oppo A7 Pro Max. That is an inference from model numbers: the earlier Oppo A6c carried the PMC110 number, so PNC110 would be the next generation in the same line. It is not a confirmed identification.
The A7 Pro Max, announced on 4 August 2026, has a 10,000 mAh Si/C battery with 80W wired charging and the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, which has an Our Score of 20.35 in our database. A 12,000 mAh successor would add 2,000 mAh, about 20%.
How does 12,000 mAh compare with other big-battery phones?
| Phone | Battery | Status |
|---|---|---|
| OPPO PNC110 | ~12,000 mAh (11,460 mAh rated) | Certified in China, unannounced |
| Redmi Turbo 6 Max | Over 10,000 mAh (rumoured) | Tipster claims only |
| Oppo A7 Pro Max | 10,000 mAh | Launched |
| Xiaomi Redmi K100 | 10,000 mAh, 100W | Launched 27 October 2026 |
| Oppo K14 Plus | 8,000 mAh, 45W | Launched |
Our earlier story on the Redmi Turbo 6 Max covers its rumoured 10,000 mAh-plus battery. If the OPPO listing is real, it would be the largest battery on any phone in this comparison.
Do phones really need 12,000 mAh?
Not for most people. Most users are already well served by a battery of around 8,000 mAh, such as the one in the Oppo K14 Plus, so beyond that point the extra capacity is as much marketing as benefit. That is our opinion, not a tested result. With memory and storage getting more expensive, a bigger battery is also a cheaper way for a brand to show a clear upgrade than a better camera or screen. The listing says nothing on this; the reasoning is ours.
For Indian buyers, nothing is known about an India launch, price or final name, and China-first certification does not guarantee a global release. We would wait for OPPO's own announcement and the real charging speed before judging it. See more from Oppo in our database.
