iQOO Z12 Lite 5G Tipped With Dimensity 7400 Turbo and 8,000mAh

iQOO is tipped to be preparing the iQOO Z12 Lite 5G, successor to the Z11 Lite, with a Dimensity 7400 Turbo chip, an 8,000 mAh battery and 33W charging. A leak lists model number I2603 and says it may be sold as the iQOO Z12 SE 5G in some markets. iQOO has confirmed nothing.

What specs are tipped for the iQOO Z12 Lite 5G?

• Model number: I2603
• Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo, up from the Dimensity 6300 in the Z11 Lite
• Storage: 256GB option
• Battery and charging: 8,000 mAh with 33W wired charging
• Software: Android 16 with OriginOS 6

The leak says nothing about the display or cameras. The software is a small surprise: several phones released after September ship with Android 17, so Android 16 would look dated. The tip also says the phone may be sold under another name, the iQOO Z12 SE 5G, in several countries. Whether India keeps the Z12 Lite name is not known, but iQOO has used the Lite label for the Z10 Lite and Z11 Lite.

How does it compare with the iQOO Z11 Lite?

The iQOO Z11 Lite 44W in our database has a 6.7-inch 120Hz LCD, a Dimensity 6300 with an Our Score of 14.43, a 6,500 mAh battery, 44W charging and a 50MP main camera. It runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6, so the software would be unchanged.

The Dimensity 7400 has an Our Score of 24.59 in our database, against 14.43 for the Dimensity 6300, so the chip would be a clear step up. The charging speed would drop from 44W to 33W, which is worth noting if you prefer fast top-ups over a bigger battery. Our database lists a 44W Z11 Lite, so check which variant you compare against.

Where does it fit among rivals?

The same chip powers the iQOO Z11x, which has a 7,200 mAh battery and 44W charging and is listed at ₹27,999 in our database. The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite also uses the Dimensity 7400, with a 7,000 mAh battery and 45W charging. Lite models usually sit below the "x" series in iQOO's lineup, so the Z12 Lite would likely be priced under the Z11x. That pricing is our inference, not a leaked figure.

When will it launch?

There is no timeline or market list yet, and nothing about India. For buyers, the combination of a Dimensity 7400 and an 8,000 mAh battery looks promising on paper, but we would wait for the display, camera and price details before deciding. See more from iQOO in our database.
