Galaxy S27 Series Leak: S27 Pro, 5,700mAh Ultra, Privacy Displays

Tipster Sanju Choudhary has listed what he says are the specs of the whole Samsung Galaxy S27 series: four phones, including a new Galaxy S27 Pro. Ultra and Pro are tipped to get 2K privacy displays and UFS 5.0, and the Ultra a 5,700 mAh battery. Samsung has confirmed nothing.

What is the new Galaxy S27 Pro?

The tipster calls the S27 Pro the new addition to the lineup. On paper it sits between the S27+ and the Ultra: a compact 6.47-inch 2K privacy display, the same 200MP main sensor and UFS 5.0 as the Ultra, but a 12MP 3x telephoto and no S Pen. He thinks it could be the best-selling model and expects prices to go up. That is his opinion, and no prices have leaked.

How does the Galaxy S27 Ultra compare with the Galaxy S26 Ultra?

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 6.9-inch 1440 x 3120 display, a 5,000 mAh battery with 60W wired and 25W wireless charging, a 200MP main camera with 3x and 5x telephotos, and weighs 214g at 7.9mm. It runs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which has an Our Score of 100.00 in our database.

Against that, the rumoured Ultra keeps the 6.9-inch size, 7.9mm thickness and charging speeds, adds 700 mAh of battery and 4g of weight, and swaps in a privacy display. The leak lists only one telephoto, a 50MP 5x, so it may be incomplete. If the Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, our database shows its Geekbench multi-core average of 12,873 as well ahead of the Elite Gen 5's 11,047.

For the smaller models the changes look modest: the Galaxy S26 already has a 4,300 mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging, and the Galaxy S26+ a 4,900 mAh battery with 45W and 20W. The S27 and S27+ tips match those figures exactly, so we read them as unchanged, which is our inference.

What should Indian buyers watch?

Chipset choice by region is the big one: the tipster pairs Exynos 2700 with the Pro, S27+ and S27, and gives the Ultra a choice of Snapdragon or Exynos. India has often received Exynos-powered Galaxy models, but nothing about the S27 is settled.
