A listing on China's 3C database, believed to be the vanilla Xiaomi 18, shows 100W wired charging. That matches last year's model and suggests the Xiaomi 18 may launch this year after all, probably in December in China. Xiaomi has not confirmed the phone.

What does the 3C listing show?

The certification was issued on 6 November 2026 for a Xiaomi 5G phone with model number M261DB and a power adapter model MDY-18-EW rated at up to 100W. It is believed to be the standard Xiaomi 18. The listing gives no other specs. It also comes after Xiaomi said the Xiaomi 18 Pro series is going global by the end of the year and left the plain Xiaomi 18 out of the conversation, which had fuelled speculation that there would be no successor to the Xiaomi 17 this year. Our story on the Xiaomi 18 Pro global launch has the background.

What specs have leaked for the Xiaomi 18?

Earlier reports point to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, not the Extreme version, a 200MP main camera and a 7,200 mAh battery. The screen size is still unknown.

How does it compare with the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max?

The Pro and Pro Max columns come from our database. Because the Xiaomi 18 Pro is the compact model this time at 6.4 inches, and the vanilla 18 is tipped to have a battery 200 mAh larger, the Xiaomi 18 would probably sit between the Pro and the Pro Max in size. That is our inference, not a leaked figure.

When will it launch?

Earlier rumours say December, which likely refers to the China release; there is no word on India or global availability. We would treat the date as unconfirmed until Xiaomi announces it. See more from Xiaomi in our database.
