Realme 17 Pro Leak: Dimensity 7300, 10,000mAh and 50MP Camera

A new report citing industry sources details the Realme 17 Pro: a 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED, the Dimensity 7300, a 50MP main camera and a 10,000 mAh battery. The specs differ from an earlier 200MP leak, so that one likely described the Pro+ or a Pro Max. Realme has confirmed nothing.

What specs are reported for the Realme 17 Pro?

• Display: 1.5K AMOLED, 120Hz
• Chipset: Dimensity 7300
• Cameras: 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide; the selfie camera records 4K at 30fps, with a resolution of 32MP or 50MP
• Battery: 10,000 mAh
• Other: in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68/IP69 ratings, ColorOS 17 based on Android 17

What about the earlier 200MP leak?

An earlier leak, which we covered in our Realme 17 Pro series story, described a phone with the Dimensity 7500, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP 3.5x telephoto, a flat 1.5K OLED at 120Hz (up to 165Hz in some games), a plastic frame and a camera module resembling the Realme 16 Pro+'s. It shared the same 10,000 mAh battery. The tipster later said it could be the Pro+ or a Pro Max, and the new report makes that look likely, since the plain Pro now gets the more modest specs.

How does it compare with the Realme 16 Pro?

The Realme 16 Pro, announced on 6 January 2026, uses the same Dimensity 7300, which has an Our Score of 22.69 in our database. It has a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED, a 7,000 mAh battery with 80W charging in one version, and a 200MP main camera. The Realme 16 Pro+ uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with a 200MP main camera and a 50MP 3.5x periscope.

If the report is right, the 17 Pro keeps the chip and trades megapixels and refresh rate for a battery about 3,000 mAh (roughly 43%) bigger. We read that as Realme prioritising battery life, which is our inference. A 50MP sensor is not automatically worse than a 200MP one, but the headline number goes down.

What should buyers watch?

There is no launch date, India plan or price yet. We would wait for Realme's own confirmation of which models exist and how they are priced before deciding. See more from Realme in our database.
