ASUS ProArt P16 and P14 Launched in India with NVIDIA RTX Spark

ASUS has launched the ProArt P16 and ProArt P14 in India, its first creator laptops built on NVIDIA's RTX Spark N1X chip. The ProArt P14 starts at ₹3,29,990 and the ProArt P16 at ₹4,99,990, with the top P16 offering 128GB of unified memory for local AI work.

What is the price of the ASUS ProArt P16 and P14 in India?

ASUS will sell both laptops through its exclusive stores, Croma, Reliance Digital, Flipkart, Amazon and the official ASUS online store.

What are the specifications?

Both laptops use NVIDIA's RTX Spark N1X processor, which combines Grace CPU cores with Blackwell RTX graphics and a pool of unified memory shared between them. The P16 gets a 20-core CPU and a GPU with up to 6,144 cores, while the smaller P14 has an 18-core CPU and a 5,120-core GPU.

Both screens are Pantone validated for colour accuracy. Both laptops also include an ASUS HapticPad and the ProArt Creator Hub software for managing creative workflows. ASUS says the machines support more than 1,000 AI-accelerated apps, among them Adobe's creative tools, Blender and ComfyUI.

Who are these laptops for?

The pitch is running AI models on the laptop itself instead of in the cloud, which can cut cloud usage and token costs. NVIDIA's CUDA tools and RTX graphics also help with video editing and 3D rendering, and Windows PC gaming is a bonus for anyone who wants one machine for work and play. We would not look at these as general-purpose laptops at this price; they suit developers, AI engineers and heavy creative users.

How do they compare with the Apple MacBook Pro?

The obvious rival is Apple's MacBook Pro. The 14-inch model with the M5 Pro starts at ₹2,49,900, and the M5 Max version with 128GB unified memory costs around ₹6,19,900. That makes the 128GB ProArt P16 roughly ₹10,000 dearer than a comparable MacBook Pro, so the two are direct competitors at the top end.

The ProArt's main edge is access to NVIDIA's CUDA and RTX software, plus a deeper PC game library. The MacBook Pro remains the stronger pick for buyers who put CPU performance and the macOS development ecosystem first. We have not tested either machine, so the real-world performance gap is still unknown.

What should buyers watch next?

Independent reviews will show how the N1X chip handles sustained loads, battery life and thermals in a body only 1.29cm thin. The 48GB P16 variant is also still to be priced. Until then, treat the AI-app support list as ASUS's own claim.
